Pau Hana Paddle on Friday and Tatonka Paddle on Saturday

Aloha!
We hope everyone had a safe weekend celebration. Mahalo to all who came out and spent time with our Hui Paoakalani 'Ohana at the Great Salt Lake this past weekend. On Friday, the weather was perfect and the water was clear and glassy! Saturday brought a little rain, but everyone still had lots of fun! And the food was...well...broke da' mouth ono!
FYI...We are planning 2 paddles this weekend. On Friday, we will have a "Pau Hana" paddle at the lake after work meeting between 5 and 5:30 pm and paddling till sunset. Also, get your sunscreen and your camelbak ready because on Saturday, we will be having another "Tatonka Paddle!" Details for the Tatonka paddle will be posted on the blog later this week. If you are interested in the Tatonka paddle, please RSVP by sending an e-mail to hui_paoakalani@live.com
As always, please bring a pot-luck dish to share both days.
Have a great week!
I Ku Mau Mau!

Holiday Weekend Paddling Schedule

Due to the rain yesterday(Thursday), we were unable to rig and beach the wa'a. Today's paddle has been rescheduled for 3 pm to sunset, as many of our core members are working today. Tomorrow (July 4th) we will still plan to paddle from 9 am to 1 or 2pm. However, since many of our core Hui members have plans for the evening...it may be necessary to pull the wa'a out early as we need manpower help with clean-up and storage. As always...feel free to bring a potluck item to share on both days. Again, Mahalo for supporting the Hui. We'll SEE you on the lake! Let's ENJOY the weekend and let's ALL BE SAFE! Hau'oli la hanau America!!!
