For those of you who are interested...Here is the link to the world wide voyage update from Mark Ellis. Mark is a crew member with Hokule'a and Hikianalia. He is currently an apprectice navigator with Hikianalia. While in Utah this past August, Mark shared his knowledge of sailing and navigation with members of Hui Paoakalani and the Pacific Heritage Academy. Mark also helped Hui Paoakalani get our newly converted sailing wa'a back in the water.
Hui Paoakalani is Utah's FIRST Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Club. We are affiliated with the Ka Lama Mohala Foundation. Our paddle season generally runs March - September (weather permitting). LAULAU & POKE SALE UPDATE: SOLDOUT - PICKUP ON SATURDAY 18 OCT 2014
MAHALO TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS FOR HELPING TO SELLOUT OUR LAULAU & POKE FUNDRAISER. Please remember to come and pick up your laulaus and poke on Saturday, October 18, 2014 between 10 AM and 12 Noon (PM). Pickup will be at the same place as the last 2 fundraisers. We are at 1739 W.
