Hui Paoakalani is Utah's FIRST Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Club. We are affiliated with the Ka Lama Mohala Foundation. Our paddle season generally runs March - September (weather permitting). NO PADDLE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2015
Based on the latest weather forecasts, Uncle Butch and I decided to cancel paddling for this coming Saturday, September 5, 2015. Also, based on the latest information, Nebraska might be a bad place for BYU to open the 2015 College Football season. Hopefully, Utah does well tonight, Thursday September 3rd, and beats Michigan. So stay home this weekend and watch your favorite football teams or just any football game(s) you have time to watch. Make your favorite ono barbecue and eat up. And Gene, have a cold one. Or two. Or whatever you can handle. I have a 12 pack of Diet Coke for the weekend.
