Aloha Hui and Friends: We will be paddling in the afternoon this Saturday following the Laulau and Poke Sale. The BYU Polynesian Club will be joining the Hui for a special paddle as they enjoy the Great Salt Lake and Na Wa'a. The Polynesian Club plans to meet at the GSL Marina around 1:30 PM and will paddle, play music, relax and eat that afternoon. Those wishing to paddle or meet the Polynesian Club members are welcomed to attend. Please bring some pot luck dishes to share. Mahalo.
Aloha Hui Friends and Neighbors, We will have our Laulau and Poke Pick up this Saturday between 10 AM and 12 NOON. Please pick up your orders at Shauna's Home in the Riverside - Rose Park area at 1739 Jensen Meadow Lane (535 North), Salt Lake City, Utah. Jensen Meadow Lane is right off (west) of Redwood Road just north of the 500 North stop light. Look for a Red or White pop up tent in the driveway. Again, on behalf of Hui Paoakalani, Mahalo to all of our supporters.

Aloha Hui and Friends, Just a reminder that the Hui will be paddling again this Saturday, September 14, 2013. We invite all to come and join us as the season is nearing its completion within the next month. Current weather forecasts show potential thunderstorms on Saturday, but in the past, we have had good paddling conditions in the morning with the thunderstorms arriving in the afternoon. Please watch the weather for severe storm warnings. The Hui plans to be at the marina to paddle, clean the canoes, work on some projects or planning no matter the weather conditions with the EXCEPTION of high winds and severe thunderstorms. As always, we plan to have a pot luck. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ON SATURDAY REGARDING THE WEATHER, PLEASE CHECK BACK ON THIS BLOG FOR UPDATES OR CALL BEN AT 801-721-7026. MAHALO!
