Bring your 'Ohana and come support Hui Paoakalani and the Ka Lama Mohala Dancers and Musicians at the Spanish Fork Wind Festival this weekend!
Kumu Kawika Alfiche and the Ka Lama Mohala Dancers and Musicians will be performing tonight at 7 pm on the shore of the Spanish Fork Reservoir.
Hui Paoakalani will be offering Wa'a (outrigger canoe) rides for $1.00 (on both days) and will also be selling Hui Paoakalani's FAMOUS Hawaiian Style Shave Ice! (On Saturday).
Aunty Pat and Aunty Angie will also have Local Style Kalua Pig and Teri Chicken rice bowls available for purchase on Saturday.
There is a $5.00 per vehicle charge to enter the festival. Once inside, many activities are "FREE" or have a small fee.

Spanish Fork Festival Aug. 28-29
Aloha Everyone!
As a Reminder...this weekend
is the
Spanish Fork Wind Festival.
Thanks again to those of you who will be volunteering to help the Hui at this event.
The Hui will be down at the event from 3pm on Friday and
from 8:30 am on Saturday.
We will be offering wa'a rides on both days, and also selling shave ice on Saturday.
For directions-click on the link below.
If you have not already done so...please be sure your name is on the Hui's volunteer list-so you won't have to pay for parking. Meet at the reservoir for instructions on both days. Don't forget to wear a Hui shirt.

Paddle this Saturday
We will be paddling this Saturday, August 22nd. Regular time 8:30 am to 2 pm. We will Potluck...bring something to share. The Hui will also be discussing details for the upcoming Spanish Fork Wind Festival.

'Ohana FREE Paddle Day CANCELLED
ATTENTION: THE HUI PAOAKALANI 'OHANA FREE PADDLE DAY SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, AUGUST 8TH HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO UNEXPECTED WIND DAMAGE TO THE HUI "SHACK"(HUI BUILDING). HUI PAOAKALANI MEMBERS WILL BE REPAIRING DAMAGE TO THE HUI SHACK ON SATURDAY. THE 'OHANA FREE PADDLE DAY WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE.

'Ohana FREE Paddle Day
Hui Paoakalani will be sponsoring an 'Ohana FREE Paddle Day this Saturday. Click on the flyer link under the Calendar and Events section of the blog.
The General Public is invited to come from 11 am to 2 pm. All Members of the General Public should be prepared to pay a $2.00 Great Salt Lake Marina Entrance Fee per vehicle.
HUI PAOAKALANI MEMBERS-Please arrive at 8:30 am to help with the rigging of the Wa'a and quick paddle(if time allows).
