2010 HUI MEMBERSHIP AND WAIVER FORMS NOW AVAILABLE

Aloha Hui Members!
The 2010 Hui Paoakalani Membership and Hui Waiver Forms are NOW available! Please click on the link located in the "HUI PAOAKALANI FORMS" section of the blog.
The Hui Board approved Discounting Membership Fees for 2010. This will be a substantial discount over our 2009 membership fees, and will include a MANDATORY 40 hours of service time. If you DO NOT participate in the service time (which can be done by helping to setup/cleanup the wa'a and equipment at weekly paddles, helping with wa'a maintenance, helping with Hui "Shack" maintenance, helping at fundraisers and/or other Hui related events, etc.) you will have to pay an additional $150.00.
Your Hui Membership will NOT include the USACK Individual Insurance that was provided last season. Individuals wishing to compete in various canoe races, will need to obtain this insurance on their own.
We are almost done painting the wa'a, and they will be ready to be put back into the water soon!
As a REMINDER-ALL Paddlers MUST complete and sign the Hui Paoakalani Waiver Form BEFORE paddling with Hui Paoakalani.
You may bring your Completed Membership Form, and your Completed and Signed Waiver Form along with your payment on your first day day of paddling this season.
HUI PAOAKALANI does offer a "First Paddle Free" for anyone who has NEVER paddled with our club.
NEW PADDLERS-Please REVIEW the NEW PADDLER INFORMATION FORM located on our blog.
We have a LauLau Fundraiser taking place on March 20, 2010. Pickup will be from 10 am to 1 pm on March 20th at the Hawaiian Cultural Center. Tickets have been selling well and are still available 1 for $5.00 or 5 for $20.00 from any Hui Board Member. We will need help the night before, as well as on the actual pickup day. Please e-mail hui_paoakalani@live.com to let us know if you can help on either day.
Have a GREAT week and we are looking forward to a GREAT 2010 season of paddling!
Mahalo for your support!
